How does The Chef Assistant work?

We use artificial intelligence (Gpt3.5 and 4) to generate personalized recipes based on your preferences and dietary requirements. Simply select your preferences, and our AI will suggest recipes for you.

Is The Chef Assistant free to use?

Yes, we offer a free subscription with limited features and a set of free credits. In addition you can claim free credits every day! You can also choose from our premium subscriptions for additional benefits.

Is The Chef Assistant generally available?

At the moment TheChefAssistant is in soft launch as we are perfecting the service and the results for the best experience ever when we will be ready to launch. If you get access to it, congrats and thank you for being an early member!

What do I get with a premium subscription?

Premium subscriptions offer additional recipe credits and additional daily credit perks, no ads and many additional features. You also get access to new features earlier.

How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your subscription page settings or by contacting our support team directly.

Technical Questions

I forgot my password, what should I do?

You can reset your password by clicking on the 'Forgot Password' link on the sign-in page. Follow the instructions provided to reset your password.

Is there a mobile app available?

While we currently do not have a mobile app, our website is mobile-friendly, and you can access all features from your mobile browser.


Website Behavior and Other Questions

Why is image generation so credit expensive?

Image generation is currently very resource-intensive and costly. The API rate for generating images is significantly higher than for text, which makes it expensive to offer this feature. We're continuously working to reduce the credit cost for image generation, but unfortunately, it's still not possible to lower the costs at this time.

Why do you offer various languages selection but the site is only in English?

At the moment, the site is only available in English without automatic browser translation. However, you can generate recipes in the offered languages and filter by them. We also provide the option to manage your saved and created recipes in one place, regardless of the language you choose.
